In Chinese medicine, the Kidneys are the root of everything — our vitality, our warmth, our reproductive power. The right Kidney specifically governs Yang: the warming, activating energy that drives the second half of the menstrual cycle, supports progesterone production, and creates the right conditions for an embryo to implant and hold.
When Kidney Yang is deficient — which happens gradually through years of overwork, stress, inadequate sleep, or simply constitutional tendency — the body loses this warmth. The luteal phase shortens. Progesterone dips. The uterus doesn't hold. The lower body feels cold. Energy drops in the afternoon. And conception, despite good timing and good intentions, keeps not happening.
You Gui Wan gently and systematically restores this Yang. It doesn't push or stimulate — it replenishes. And over three to six months, the difference is usually very noticeable: warmer extremities, a more stable luteal phase, better progesterone levels, and a uterine environment that is genuinely ready to receive.
What it helps with: Luteal phase deficiency · low progesterone · poor implantation · cold lower back, abdomen, or feet · frequent urination · low libido · fatigue and low motivation · cycles that are long or irregular due to Yang deficiency
Herbs: Shu Di Huang · Shan Zhu Yu · Tu Si Zi · Du Zhong · Rou Gui · Dang Gui · Fu Zi (prepared) · Shan Yao · Gou Qi Zi · Lu Jiao Jiao · Tu Si Zi
