March 18 – April 14
Coinciding with the Spring Equinox, the month of the Alder Moon is a time to focus on balance and fertility.
Endurance, Strength, Passion.
Associated with the element of water, the alder has the power to regenerate poor soil thanks to its intricate root system.
Growing mainly in watery swamplands, the alder provides shelter for fish, especially salmon and its falling leaves easily decompose into the water to feed all the creatures in the water around it.
Translating this into our own lives, standing strong in our environment can have positive effects on others around us. By sending out signals of peace and love, we can enhance the lives of those around us, providing shelter and comfort.
