September 2 – September 30
The lunar month of the Vine offers the opportunity to bring your plans to fruition the winter begins.
Introspection, Depth, Regeneration
Celtic art is ripe with the winding vine symbolising interconnection, eternity and fertility, branching out in new directions. The vine is also associated with expansion, opportunity and bounty.
Druids recognized the vine’s growth patterns as a symbol of the human spirit; digging in wherever it could to gain a strong foothold to assure its growth.
This is a powerful metaphor of “going with the flow” and “bloom where you are planted.”
It reminds us to stay in a relaxed, flowing state of mind to reach our highest potentials. Nevertheless, the vine’s thorns are a symbol of defending and protecting ourselves when necessary.
