Ian Claxton graduated from The National University Ireland, Maynooth in 2000, with a Bachelor of Science degree, studying Biotechnology and Chemistry.
He developed his ideas and strengths in the diagnostic and medical industries over the years and began studying Acupuncture in 2003.
Graduating at the top of his class in the three-year licentiate program offered by The College of Integrative Acupuncture in Galway, Ian continued his development with a period of hospital-based work in Beijing, China. He also has an ITEC diploma in Holistic Massage, which he uses in conjunction with his treatments.

Ian has received advanced training and specialised education in Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation including advanced certification with Hung Tsui Ying. Ian currently treats men and women with cosmetic facial rejuvenating acupuncture for wrinkles, sagging, puffiness and other skin problems.
Certification
Ian is currently certified to practice Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) nationally under the Traditional Chinese Medicine Council of Ireland (TCMCI).
